Facility Outline

The “Seoul Hall of Urbanism and Architecture” is the site of the Bureau of Posts, the former Japanese Government-General of Korea. It consists of the first ground floor with a rooftop as a resting space, approximately an area of 800 m² (28,469.76 square feet). To the south of the building is Deoksu Palace, the north Seoul Metropolitan Council, to the west is the Seoul Anglican Cathedral, and to the east is Seoul Plaza. While focusing on harmonizing with its surroundings, it has unique characteristics of preserving the remains of the original building’s concrete columns considering its historical significance.
