It is the first women’s history library in South Korea, and it is scheduled to open in March 2020. By remodeling the old site and building the Wongak Buddhist Temple, the facilities provide 222 m² (2,389.84 square feet) area for a women's history bookstore on the first basement floor and 153 m² (1,657.82 square feet) for a large children’s library on the ground floor. In a newly constructed annex to the library building, it will be used as a women's history exhibition hall and café.
